Niesha Heverly is one of the Paralegals at the Gist Law Firm. She has been employed with the Gist Law Firm since 2020. Niesha graduated from The College of New Jersey and completed her Paralegal Studies at The University of South Carolina. Her previous experiences include interning at the Mercer County Prosecutor Office in Victim’s Witness unit as well as New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice in the Human Trafficking unit. She is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho, Incorporated and is extremely community oriented. She is involved in various social justice community organizations designed to help inmates and juvenile offenders graduate from their education programs, learn how to research laws, and learn how to address behavioral issues. Since her employment began at the Gist Law Firm, she has assisted the attorneys in various aspects. Her work duties include drafting Complaints, Interrogatories, Requests for Products, and Production of Documents. She gathers necessary documentation that will help prepare the attorneys for depositions and mediations. She interviews clients so that she can gather facts that are relevant to the clients’ cases. Niesha enjoys learning about the law and aspires to become an attorney so that she can do her part in fighting for individuals so that they can get the justice that they deserve.
